HELLO "Sup"2s!
this is my first post. hehehe. Anyways, Monday is our SYF!! ahhhh!!~ please know the songs and the dynamics well okay? And also remember to follow Mrs Lim's conducting instead of just going on auto pilot. AND PLEASE SMILE OKAY. Let's all sing our best! (:
Here are the important parts that you have to take note of for each song:
Salve Regina:
1. The starting should only be "p" and rmb to float your notes.
2. don't drop all the "ma-TER" and "vi-ta-dol-ce(h) do" is one word, so don't breathe in btw :P
3. feel the song.
4. for "il los tu os", its only "mp" & more intensity. "VEER GO".
5. basically all the other consonants like "cle", "pi" and rmb to do that pushing thing at the ending.
Ants' Summer:
1. 'ke' in 'Do ke' must be lifted up, don't press on ke.
2. also, you have to perform the rest in btw all the do ke do ke...
3. OMG. and the high high part whr we always go flat! pls go and practice of wadever
4. start soft and do CRESCENDO!! DYNAMICS!! XD
5. your "ZA" must be powerful too.
The Wind:
1. according to our wonderful Mrs Lim, it is "level 2" volume at the start so start soft but intense.
2. don't sing the "and all around...." but if u accidentally sing it during SYF just continue don't suddenly stop halfway.
3. hold the "long" for 6 counts, do the "ng" thinggie.
4. I is pronounced as "ai-yee", im sure u all know alr.
5. oh and please cut off your "I could not see.... all" before the altos sing "that"
6. pronounce your vowels & consonants properly. ^^
7. change colour at diff. parts and sing your "fp"s well okay?
ok thats all I know it seems like alot of things but they've all been mentioned b4 so just try ur best to remember okay? (:
OH YA AND LEE SINING SAYS THAT IF YOU ALL SING WELL SHE WILL TREAT ALL OF YOU TO HAAGEN DAZS ICE-CREAM!!!
