HEY SOP TWOS ~
Here's an email by the QMs, in case you haven't seen it.
Dear Choir,
It's us, your favourite QMs again! This is a gentle reminder to TRY ON YOUR GOWNS PHYSICALLY (that means really wearing it and try breathing in it and not us testing the zip). Should you have any issues regarding your gown, regardless of whether you are going to HK, please do bring your gowns tomorrow.
The gowns are to be worn with a proper pair of black court shoes, which would resemble the attached photo. The court shoes must be:
1. Black in colour, and only black
2. With no fancy prints or designs of any sort
3. Without a strap (if possible, if not then it's okay)
4. Must have a heel, but not stilettos.
5. Front of the shoes should be rounded as far as possible
6. Preferably non-glossy
For the seniors who probably got their shoes ages ago, please do try them on and make sure it's still comfortable to walk in. Do insert a gel pad if you think it's uncomfortable.
For those going for the HK trip, you are once again reminded that you will need to bring your gown (the whole set) , court shoes and safety pins (in case something happens), and for those whose gowns will slip off their shoulders, you may consider bringing some double-sided tape to just make sure it stays. However, this is not encouraged for those with skin allergies, etc.
We are introducing to you a new service! And that is, you can take a photo of your court shoes and send it to us if you're in doubt, and it will spare you the trouble of bringing them personally (:
Love,
The QMs
